Here are some of the questions we get from our guests before they arrive:

Q. Will you lower the non-refundable cleaning fee if I do the cleaning?

A. No, but thank you for the offer. Our cleaning procedure is so thorough that we have to oversee it ourselves. We want to be 100% knowledgeable of and responsible for an absolutely meticulous cleaning. Click here to learn more about our cleaning methods.

Q. Do you accept personal checks for payment?

A. Yes. Rent is due 30 days before check-in, so a personal check has plenty of time to clear.

Q. Will you take a certified check or cashier's check on the day I arrive?

A. No. We will only take cash or credit card. Unfortunately, certified checks and cashier's checks have fallen victim to the scam artist and can no longer be trusted.

Q. May I check out after the normal check out time of 9:30 a.m.?

A. We will accommodate you if we can, but if another guest is arriving on the day you depart, we will not be able to allow late check out due to the fact that it takes about eight hours to thoroughly clean the premises.

Q. May I check in before the normal check in time of 3:30 p.m.?

A. We will try to accommodate you if we can, but if another guest has checked out the morning of the day you are checking in, it will probably not be possible. We need about eight hours to ready the premises. You really need to read all about our cleaning procedures to thoroughly understand these limitations.

Q. May I invite quests over for the day?

A. You may invite guests over for the day with our prior written consent, but there is a charge of $20 per person per day, and the total number of people on the grounds at any one time may not exceed 8. If you want to have a large party or event at the pool or in the activities building, please request a copy of our party rates.

Q. Is there an additional charge if I have an extra guest stay overnight?

A. As long as you don't go over the maximum number of people for the number of bedrooms you have contracted for, there is no charge. For example, if you have two bedrooms, the maximum number of people who can sleep overnight is 4. If you already have four adults in your party and you want to invite another adult to spend the night, you would need to pay for an additional bedroom.

Q. Do you allow pets of any kind?

A. No. We really can't because it would be too limiting on the guests we can accommodate. Some people just don't like to stay where a pet has been and other people have pet allergies.

Q. Do you allow smoking?

A. No. Smoking is not allowed inside the house or the activities building.

Q. Is there a charge for using the activities building?

A. No.

Q. May I use the activities building any time?

A. Yes.

Q. Is the skee ball game coin operated?

A. Yes, but we supply the coins.

Q. Do you supply golf clubs and golf balls for the driving range?

A. We supply golf clubs for free, and even have some that are cut down for children to use. You can bring your own balls or purchase a bucket of 40 balls for $18 from us. If you want to retrieve the balls and reuse them, you are welcome to do so.

Q. Is there a grill?

A. Yes. We have a large gas grill for your use as well as grilling implements.

Q. Are there hours in which the pool cannot be used?

A. No. You can swim at any time of the day or night. The pool area and pavilion have lighting if you want to use them at night. Of course if the cleaning robot is in the pool, no one can swim at that time for safety reasons (The robot uses an electrical cable in the water.) Generally, we are able to use the robot when no one wants to use the pool.

Q. Do you supply wood for the fire pit?

A. Yes. If you deplete the free supply, you can purchase additional fire packages for a modest sum.
