March Brew Fest

Main Street, Franklin

Historic Downtown Franklin celebrates St. Patrick's Day with the Franklin Main Street Brew Fest! Ticket holders can taste more than 40 beers and a sampling of Irish whiskey in the Main Street shops. Main Street is closed to vehicle traffic, but free and open to pedestrian traffic with most shops and restaurants open throughout the event. On Fourth Avenue, look for Irish-themed festival food including fish and chips, roasted corn and potatoes, Irish stew and kettle corn.

Main Street Festival is Franklin's signature annual event that brings more than 200 artisans & crafters, three stages with continuous free entertainment, and international flavors of more than 20 food vendors. The event is expected to attract more than 130,000 visitors.


Franklin Farmer’s Market

Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Location: 230 Franklin Rd. (behind The Factory)

The Franklin Farmers Market is a non-profit agricultural organization that works to keep Tennessee’s beautiful farmlands green and growing. The market gives local family farms a reliable venue to sell what they grow or produce, and it gives the public easy access to healthy, locally grown fresh food. All vegetables and fruits; meats, dairy and herbs come from Middle Tennessee farms to the market.

Tennessee Renaissance Festival

After nearly 150 years, a Civil War–era style of baseball will once again be played in Tennessee. Franklin's vintage "base ball" team is called the "Franklin Farriers," which translates to the "Franklin blacksmiths."

Franklin Rodeo

Location: Williamson County Ag Expo Park
Tickets: $10 - $20 per night

Top cowboys and cowgirls compete on some of the best livestock in the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA). Events Include: bareback riding, steer wrestling, team roping, saddle bronc riding, calf roping, mutton busting, calf scramble, barrel racing and bull riding.

Nashville Classic Horse Show

Carnton Sunset Concert Series

Location: Carnton Plantation
Time: The gates open at 4:30 P.M. and the music lasts from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Tickets may be purchased either in advance or at the door.

Family-friendly outdoor music event with performances by acclaimed artist. Guests are welcome to pack picnic dinners or take advantage of on-site food and beverage vendors.


Franklin on the Fourth

The Battle of Franklin Re-enactment draws hundreds of school children and adult spectators every year. Hosted by both The Carter House and Carnton Plantation, guests will meet Civil War re-enactors and get hands on experience with cloths, trades, and weapons of the past.

The Parthenon Replica

The full-scale Parthenon replica, originally built for Tennessee's 1897 Centennial Exposition, is the centerpiece of Centennial Park, Nashville's premier urban park. The re-creation of the 42-foot statue Athena is the focus of the Parthenon, just as it was in ancient Greece.

The Parthenon also serves as the city of Nashville's art museum. The focus of the Parthenon's permanent collection is a group of 63 paintings by 19th and 20th century American artists donated by James M. Cowan. Additional gallery spaces provide a venue for a variety of temporary shows and exhibits.
