There's so much to do on our grounds that you'll never be bored.

  • Gather on your patio for conversation or a meal.
  • Swim some laps in our private 16 x 34 foot in-ground pool.
  • Soak in the hot tub.
  • Relax in the 24' x 48' covered pool pavilion.
  • Grill up some steaks on the grill and fix a meal in the pavilion kitchen (equipped with electric cook-top, refrigerator, and microwave)
  • Play a game of ping pong, foosball, or air hockey in the game room.
  • Listen to the oldies or dance in our private 50's diner.
  • Kick a soccer ball around with the kids or play wiffle ball.
  • Roast hot dogs and marshmallows at the fire pit.
  • Drive some golf balls on our private 175-yard driving range.
  • You're always welcome to pick vegetables and fresh herbs from our raised bed garden or cut a bouquet of flowers from our many flowering plants.

Our Guests' Favorites

Our guests seem to have two favorite things at our facilities: the pool/picnic pavilion and the nostalgic, private ’50’s diner located in our 40 x 60-foot activities building. The pool is warm enough for swimming from June through the end of August. Because it gets full sun all day, many years it is warm enough to swim in late May and early September.

The diner is inside our activities building, which is filled with automotive memorabilia, antique gas pumps, old general store signs, Coca Cola memorabilia, and an array of model cars and replicas. It's practically a museum! An old neon restaurant sign, a Tin Lizzy from the 1939 World’s Fair, and a 1909 gas pump mark the entrance to the building. Pinball and other games provide our guests with hours of fun. The diner and the activities building were built for our personal fun and enjoyment. It is NOT operated as a public restaurant. As our guest, you will be free to use the activities building and enjoy relaxing in the diner whenever you want.

You Can't Go Wrong

Whether you're looking for a country getaway, a place to stay while attending a conference, or simply a place to relax and let the world go by, you've come to the right place. You can get out and explore the sights and sounds of beautiful middle Tennessee—indulge yourself at a day spa, sightsee in historic downtown Franklin, shop at nearby Cool Springs Mall, or attend a sports event.

You can stay in and relax with your morning coffee on the patio, enjoy a dip in the pool, curl up on the old-fashioned porch swing and read a book, lounge in the pool pavilion, sip a traditional glass of Southern ice tea with mint that you’ve picked from our herb garden, play a lively game of ping pong, toast marshmallows at the fire pit, or watch the gorgeous sunsets.

Only Minutes from Franklin and Nashville

Staying in Franklin is a rich, colorful experience, brimming with old town historic charm. Franklin is one of the oldest towns in Tennessee, and it begs to be explored and appreciated. Spilling over with Southern hospitality, there is an endless array of eateries, antique shops, Victorian and Civil War homes, and battlefields. Franklin was the site of one of the bloodiest battles of the Civil War. Guided tours of the museum and the Carter House, which played a major role in the battle, are available.

Nashville, only 20 miles away, is home to the world of country music—from museums to tours of the stars' homes to the Grand Ole Opry. It's a country music fan's mecca. You can honky-tonk your way through famous Printer's alley, take in an exhibit at the Frist Center for Visual Arts, or attend a game. (We have the Predator’s hockey team, Vanderbilt football and basketball teams, the Titan’s football team, and the Sounds baseball team.)
